CRT / VHS Filter

The filter is a stack of canvas effects applied in the order a real signal would degrade:

• RGB bleed — the red and blue channels are drawn slightly offset, recreating the chroma smear of composite video (and of a badly converged tube)
• Curvature — rows are displaced to approximate the barrel bulge of curved glass
• Scanlines — dark lines every few pixels, the CRT's signature texture
• Vignette — corners darken the way phosphors dimmed at the edges
• Noise & tracking — analog snow, plus the VHS classic: a torn, displaced band that made everyone smack the top of the VCR
• Timestamp — the chunky white PLAY ▶ overlay every camcorder burned into family history; set your own date and tape counter to match the memory

Presets give you a clean CRT, a worn VHS, or a properly Broken TV; every slider stays adjustable afterwards. Download renders the exact canvas as a PNG. All processing happens locally; no uploads.
